Honey Bees on Honeycomb
A beautiful depiction of honey bees managing their honey reserves. This is all made from paper and card (with a layer of shaped acetate to give the impression of liquid honey).
Each detailed bee's body is created using paper mache style techniques; hand torn and "feathered" strips of coloured tissue paper help to give the illusion of hair.
This detailed piece is presented in a wooden box frame that can be desk or wall mounted, and comes with free delivery.
Richard Danson has carefully designed each piece, cutting and assembling them at his home in Nairn (Scotland).
Note: Images are taken with and without frames to avoid glare and give different views of the products. The colours and tones of the physical items may vary compared to digital or printed images.
